Chobani Flip Lemon Meringue Pie

IMG_8152

Oh Chobani flips.. some of my favorite yogurts. I have to be careful with these because they actually do contain a lot of sugar (16g for this one above!) but I still love them. I try to treat them as dessert more than a meal or a snack. I pretty much have enjoyed all of their flavors that they put out. I like having some crunch in my yogurt and I love anything lemon flavored so when I saw this on the shelf.. I had to try it.

IMG_8428_Fotor.jpg

I really enjoyed this flavor! Not too overpowering of a lemon flavor. You know when lemon is so overpowering you pucker your face.. usually it tastes delicious but man does it hurt your jaw. I would definitely buy this again! I liked the mix ins of the pastry crumbles and the lemon clusters! Chobani was successful again at a limited time flavor, and I would definitely recommend buying it to try.

Since this is a limited edition yogurt, it is not available online I will still recommend ANY other flavor of their flips. You can find them here! – Chobani Flip

Lenny & Larry’s Complete Crunchy Cookies: Chocolate Chip

img_8178-1.jpg

Chocolate chip cookies… the best flavor of cookie out there. So simple, but seriously, the most delicious. So didn’t have the best time trying the other Lenny & Larry’s crunchy cookie flavor, but I thought why not try the other one. Who knows, can you really go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie. I really like these because if I just want a small pre-workout snack, this is the best way to go. I can’t eat too much before my workouts so if I grabbed a couple cookies to go, it should be great!

IMG_8176.JPG

Now onto the review… these were so much better! I actually did like these cookies. I still get that kind of proteiny (definitely not a word) taste with them, but it’s not as bad. I like the flavor of the cookie and the chocolate chips are pretty tasty. I would definitely eat these for a good snack. I wouldn’t compare this to their big, soft protein chocolate chip cookie. Even texture can really change the taste but it doesn’t taste bad! I think I still prefer the big cookies but I can’t complain about these.

Lenny & Larry’s Complete Crunchy Cookies: Double Chocolate

IMG_8174

I have always been a huge fan of Lenny & Larry’s! Their big protein cookies are the best pre-workout or post-workout snack. I especially love them heated up in the microwave. When I heard they were coming out with smaller, crunchy cookies, I was very excited because sometimes, the big cookies are just too much food. They have come out with three flavors: double chocolate, chocolate chip, and snickerdoodle. Snickerdoodle was not available but I did grab the other two flavors!

IMG_8175.JPG

Now onto the review of these chocolate cookies. I have to honestly say, I was disappointed. The flavor is just very.. bland? I don’t get a crunchy chocolate cookie flavor that I was hoping, but more just a mellow chocolate flavor and more bland protein flavor. I’m sad about this because I do love their other cookies, but this is definitely something I wouldn’t rebuy. I’m not even sure if I’ll just throw out the bag. Save your money on this one and I would recommend their other products.

GoMacroProlonged Power Macrobar

Bananas + almond butter, is there a better combination? I have never had GoMacro before so this was a first for me! I figured you can’t go wrong with two great flavors. It is vegan which intrigued me. I have tried a lot of protein bars and lots of different brands, so I was ready to try a new brand and hope for the best.

I am completely BANANAS about this bar! Get it.. okay ANYWAY. I thought it was delicious! It is a subtle banana flavor but the bar was so smooth and you get that almond butter flavor in there. I had it for breakfast and it kept me full for quite a while. I have a feeling I will continue to crave these protein bars and watch for sales! It almost reminds me of banana bread with a little bit of a spicy flavor to it (literally spicy, not hot spicy). It does have a sweet flavor to it if that is not your preference, but overall it was great and I would recommend to go try it for yourselves!

GT’s Strawberry Lemonade Kombucha

Sweet, sweet summertime. Nothing screams summer like lemonade. I absolutely love lemonade, flavored or not, especially adult lemonade. I was so excited when I was at Trader Joe’s and saw that a new flavored Kombucha came out.

Now I absolutely loved the flavor of this kombucha, but it may not be for everyone. It is very sweet, and may take a little longer to drink down than other kombuchas. I do like really sweet things but not everyone does. It has a strong strawberry lemonade flavor. This is perfect and refreshing for summertime!

Health-Ade Bubbly Rose Kombucha

Why does WordPress ruin the quality of my photos?

Tone it up and Health-Ade have come together to make a new kombucha! Health-Ade hasn’t always been my favorite brand of kombucha. Their flavors area always more mild and I prefer flavorful drinks. I thought I would give this flavor a shot mixed with hawthorn berry, mangosteen and pink rose. Also, I love the color of the bottle so that has to count for something right?!

This post is going to be a very easy post. I liked the flavor of the kombucha. It is still a subtle flavor which I would prefer a little stronger but you can taste those fruity and soft flavors. It almost has more of a sweeter flavor which I liked! It was very refreshing for a hot summer day and I would recommend this flavor to friends. This is probably my favorite flavor from their brand!

Although it is not available on amazon, I wanted to link their other flavors incase others wanted to try some older flavors!

Aloha Coconut Protein

Personally, I do not like whey protein. It never sits well with my stomach. With this, I always try to find the best vegan protein products. I know coconut is not always the most popular flavor but I will eat ANYTHING coconut. When I found this for sale at Target I was so excited to try it!

Trust me.. I do not like the walls most houses have here in Florida either.

Aloha’s proteins for the most part have been pretty hit or miss with me. So I didn’t know what was going to happen trying a pre-mixed protein drinks. It comes off of the shelf but I prefer my protein drinks cold so I put it in the fridge overnight. Now the most important part… the results!

I really enjoyed this protein drink! It’s a subtle flavor of coconut in there, but it has a really good flavor. It is low in sugar but you don’t get that stevia aftertaste. It’s very smooth (not grainy!) and is thick almost like a milkshake. It is a great on-the-go protein drink and I definitely recommend it all protein drinkers.

Switching Over…

I am officially switching from Blogger to WordPress. When I originally started, I thought that Blogger was the better choice but it seems the more I go into blogging, the more I find out that WordPress is a better site. I will try to get all old posts up on here as quickly as I can!

Vega Salted Caramel Protein

Salted caramel! Salted caramel seems to be always trending as a flavor. I prefer vegan protein. As said before, my stomach tends to not really like agree with whey protein, so I avoid it when I can. I have always had a positive experience with Vega protein (so far).

I was super excited to try this flavor but just got the one serving sample pack to try. Just water and protein! I really enjoyed this flavor. It was sweet, but definitely has the caramel flavor in it. The texture is not as grainy as other protein brands and it would go well with water, milk, or even mixed with a banana and some peanut butter! If sweet breakfasts are not your thing, I would refrain from this shake as it is the sweetest flavor they have in my opinion.
